TREZOR FULLY SUPPORTS ETHEREUM TOKENS (ERC-20)
 

Keen users might have already figured out that you can use your Ethereum addresses on TREZOR to store your ERC-20 tokens. If you are one of those, you might have also noticed that when signing transactions with tokens, you would not see the value and the addresses on your TREZOR display. Instead, you were asked to sign a message.
 

This is no longer the case. Starting with this iteration of TREZOR firmware, TREZOR fully supports most of current ERC-20 tokens. The device will display transaction details, such as the token type, value, as well as the transaction fee. You will be asked to confirm your transaction on TREZOR and then ultimately on MyEtherWallet.
 

“Unsupported” ERC-20 Tokens

If a token has not been added to TREZOR firmware yet, you can still store it with TREZOR, by sending them to an Ethereum address generated by TREZOR. When sending this token away from TREZOR, you will be asked to sign a message, instead of seeing the transaction details.

SECURE 2-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION
 

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is currently the most common way how you can protect your online accounts from unauthorized access. In addition to what you know (your username and password), you use something that only you have — a phone, an app or a specialized hardware token, in order to login securely.
 

However, some methods of 2FA are inherently insecure. The most popular 2FA implementation, Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP), popularized by its use on Google Auth services, transmits the shared secret (master key) over the internet during the setup process. This weakness has been recognized by major players who created FIDO Alliance and defined new, more secure standards such as U2F.
